In the era of vast competition between gadget makers, Toshiba announced three new tablets – Excite Pro, Excite Write, and Excite Pure. These three models of Excite lineup are announced during a showcase event organized in New York City last week. All these three tablets are ready to persuade tab lovers who were waiting for the new launch of Toshiba.

As the competition of gadgets hikes, many gadget makers are putting stress to enhance the display screen, along with resolution of their tabs and other smart phones. Keeping this idea in mind, Toshiba has features a 10-inch screen with a good resolution of these three tabs. All these three tabs of Toshiba Excite family run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has micro-USB, micro SD card ports, and micro-HDMI. However, the internal features of these three tabs vary.
Toshiba Excite Pure
Toshiba Excite Pure is the first tablet launched in the Excite family of Toshiba. This is an entry level tab that has Tegra 3 processor, Gorilla Glass 1, 1280X 800 resolutions, 16 GB storage, DTS tuning and front facing 1.2 MP camera. It is one of the less expensive tabs that has 10-inch screen and available in the reasonable price tag of $300
Toshiba Excite Pro
Another tablet in the family is new Android Excite Pro. This tab has many astonishing features such as it comes in 16GB or 32 GB storage option. It features a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of .2560X 1600 with 300 ppi, 8 MP rear facing camera, a Tegra 4 CPU, and 1.2 MP front facing apart. Moreover, Toshiba has incorporated its partner’s speaker harman / kardon inside the Android tab. The new Excite Pro will be soon available at the price tag of $499.
Toshiba Excite Write
The features of Excite write are similar to Excite pro to a large extent. It features 10-inch display with resolutions 2,560×1, 600 (300ppi), which is covered with Gorilla Glass 2. Write also has a Wacom digitizer and handy stylus that supports 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity. Also, it will come pre-loaded with Toshiba’s TrueNote and TruCapture apps to take full advantage of it. This android tab has a pressure sensitive stylus and Wacom made digitizer along with some software of first party that helps you in taking benefit of the pen. With astounding TrueNote application installed in the tab, it is designed to imitate pen and paper on the screen. Apart from these features, Write seems to be a good gadget for professional work.
According to Toshiba, all these three new members of Excite lineup will surely receive Key Lime Pie in future. Revealing the price of these tabs, Excite Write being the most expensive Tab will cost up to $600. Certainly with these three astonishing tabs – Excite Pro, Excite Write, and Excite Pure, Toshiba has given a neck to neck competition to Samsung to a large extent.
