Amazon has announced the upcoming of the new Kindle Fire HD 7 with an internal memory of 16GB. This tablet is a smaller version of Kindle Fire HD 8.9. The Kindle Fire HD 7 has a 1280*800 7 inch IPS screen. The original Kindle Fire was made with an idea of creating a decent tablet with all features and available at a low price. But the Kindle Fire HD 7 has been improved a lot with single layer IPS LCD touch screen which reduces glare by 25%. The screen is crystal clear. It is very user friendly and handy. The user interface is very smooth with little or no lag as its previous versions faced sometimes.

The new Kindle Fire has a 7 inch screen with a of resolution 1280*800 pixels. The tablet weighs only 395 grams with an overall dimensions of 193mm * 137mm * 10.3mm. So we see that this tablet is slightly longer and a bit thinner than its predecessors.

Various new softwares have also been introduced in this tablet. This includes WhisperSync for voice. This allows the user to listen to audio books and resume the book from where it was left off. The user can even hear the narration from actors with the help of Immersion Reading. The other new software available is X-Ray for movies. This gives the user direct access to the IMDB data while watching the movie. WhisperSync for games lets the user to save the game and synchronize is to other devices. This will help the user to continue from the point where he left the game it the other device. This software is missing in the recent smart phones and tablets. The Kindle Fire HD has email client which supports Gmail, Hotmail and Yahoo. It also syncs the calendar and contact data.

Amazon claims that dual antenna transfers data faster than iPad3. It also has HD webcam and 16GB internal memory (non-expandable). The battery gives backup up to 11 hours. It has got a TI OMAP 4460 Dual-core processor which has 1.2GHz speed and runs on 1GB RAM. It has a 1.3MP front facing camera with Dolby speakers. The speakers are on both sides of the device (in landscape mode). So the user can experience the Dolby Digital Plus stereo sound. The camera is mainly for video interaction in Skype. The operating system used in the Kindle Fire HD is Android 4.0 (ice cream sandwich).

The Kindle Fire HD 7 has got two versions. The one which is expected on Sep. 14th has a capacity of 16GB. It costs only $199.

The other version expected at the end of November, has a capacity of 32GB which makes a pocket pinch of $249.

My Verdict on the new Kindle Fire HD 7

So we find that though this new 7 inch Kindle fire HD tablet has no access to the Google Applications, it still has many new upgraded types of software and is easy for the users to operate.
